Who is man’s best friend?  Yes, it’s that tongue-hanging and tail-wagging quadruped, the dog!  Who is John’s best friend?  The one who goes where John goes.  The one who stays where John stays.  The one who grieves when John leaves.  The one who’s alive when John arrives.  Yes, it’s that tongue-hanging and tail-wagging quadruped, Gambol. 

 

Gambol is John’s loyal friend.  It’s not his friendship with John though which makes Gambol an enemy of Cubie.  It’s his blind obedience to everything John asks which makes him one of Cubie’s favorite shooting targets.  Cubie simply can’t stand those who don’t think for themselves whether living or non-living.  Can Gambol’s blind obedience be shot down?  Follow Gambol here and you decide.  Just don’t let anyone think it out for you.
